St. Patty's Bicycle Pub Crawl!

Monday, March 19, 2012 at 08:28PM This past Saturday was the Beer Snob Bicycle Pub Crawl, a semi-binannual jaunt around some of the city's best bars and hangouts. A tour of about 200 passed through Zeke's and The Abbey on the Beach, and then made their way over to Wood Tavern, The Corner and The Filling Station around downtown and midtown.
Gathering outside the Corner on N Miami AveHere at the MCBC, we were all pretty excited that the Corner was one of the stops, given that caddy-corner across the street is our future workshop space. We were able to reach out and spread the word to many of you, and in return we heard a lot of great feedback, ideas and advice.
Wow! Check out those spoke cards ... We also introduced our new Magic City Spoke Card, created with the help of some talented Miami artists and designers. We asked for donations of $1 and gave out more than 120 cards - and made even more money thanks to your generosity!
If you didn't get a chance to grab one this week, don't worry because we'll be bringing them around various events and hotspots, like Critical Mass and Bike Polo.
If you have any questions or want to get involved, contact us at volunteer@magiccitybike.com
We meet once a week, every week, at The Corner, Monday 7:30pm. We welcome fresh ideas and input!
